Welcome to the Chiré region, home to a variety of both Pokémon and people. There are no new Pokémon in this region, but all the others seem to flock to this secluded paradise, located just north of the regions of Kanto and Jhoto. There is an abundance of things to do in the region of Chiré, including regional festivals that welcome partakers from every region, dream-vacation resort spots for those looking to get away from the stresses of every day life, exotic foods to be tasted in every town, and much, much more. However, the native people of Chiré usually follow the tradition of taking on the Astre League Challenge. Trainers register with the League and the Elite Four distribute a starter to them. They then begin a journey all across Chiré, collecting badges and Pokémon as companions along the way. Their challenge ends when they beat the Champion of the Astre Pokémon League, who's name and identity is currently unknown to everyone, including the prestigious Elite Four who work beneath him or her. Will you join the many other Pokémon Trainers as they attempt to become the new Champion?
